Reclaiming For Our Future

Lifecycle Building Center (LBC) invites NARI Members to Reclaiming for our Future: a Celebration of LBCs. This event will support and celebrate the vital work of promoting environmental stewardship and community resilience by creating a sustainable lifecycle for the built environment.

LBC is a nonprofit that diverts building materials from landfills toward opportunities for reuse and empowers energy-saving, sustainable solutions.

The event will take place in The Kendeda Building for Innovative Sustainable Design at Georgia Tech, the first building in Georgia to earn Living Building Challenge (the other LBC) certification, the world’s most ambitious and holistic green building achievement. Entertain your friends, clients and business partners in the most environmentally advanced education and research building ever constructed in the Southeast! Lifecycle Building Center is proud to have supplied expertise in demolition and reclamation, as well as valuable salvaged materials as a project partner for this unique building.

The event is presented by both Skanska, which served as general contractor of the project, and Georgia Tech.
