Project Criteria
Non-Profit Organizations & Individuals
Required:
- Willing to complete a NARI Cares Project Proposal Form.
- Ability to show a clear and significant need, with little or no ability to satisfy that need.
- NARI Cares Board member willing to take on the project.
- Accessible, single point of contact for scheduling and questions.
- Project on-site review and the ability to create a clear, definite scope of work prior to starting.
- Property insured and Organization/Homeowner willing to sign a liability waiver.
- All workers to sign a liability waiver.
- Organization/Homeowner willing to sign a media release including photos, quotes, testimonials, etc.
- Ability to take before, during, and after photos.
Preferred:
- Project location in Metro-Atlanta or surrounding suburbs.
- Self-funding: Already have the needed products or have the funds to purchase products, possibly grant dollars or donations.
- Have a clearly defined story.
- Scope of work that is remodeling in nature.
- Scope of work that can be completed in 5 days or fewer.
- Provide food for workers.
- Provide bathroom facilities for workers.
- Defined labor requirement: specific skills needed and number of unskilled workers needed.
- Homeowner/Organization willing to speak to the NARI membership either live or on video.
- Organization is (or willing to become) a NARI member.
